Oil Rig & Natural Gas Jobs Aren't Limited To North Dakota

So many people get caught up in the oil boom goign on in western North Dakota they forget North Dakota isn't the only place in the country with an oil boom going on an with oil jobs. Though the pay and opportunities in North Dakota are promising there are also issues such as high costs of living and limited housing. Some other areas of the country have gas and oil jobs and better living environments both in terms of costs and available housing as well as just nicer cities to live in.

For that reason I want to help open some people's eyes and realize gas and oil booms are happening all over the country. North Dakota gets talked about on forums and message boards as well as the media but its far from being the only well paying oil job in the country.

There are a number of other states that have increased drilling and production of oil and gas in the past few years. People should also consider natural gas jobs and not just oil jobs as the industries an jobs are somewhat similar. States like Texas for example are well known for their oil but there is still a high demand for workers even today.

Many people forget about Pennsylvania, Colorado, West Virginia and Ohio but these states all have many oil and natural gas jobs as well. I feel as though similarly to North Dakota these states aren't prepared for the number of new workers they will need as drilling expands.

These states are great places to look if you want to be closer to home and live near these area, aren't excited about the prospect of harsh North Dakota winters, and don't want to deal with the housing problems most western North Dakota oil towns have.

Many other states are also just beginning oil and gas production and will someday soon have an increased need for workers. Kee an eye out for other states besides just North Dakota.

North Dakota is a great place to find a good paying jobs in the oil industry, were just saying consider other options as well.
